    Description

    Lithographed (not a paper label) round tin container of Colgate Borated Baby Powder, the 2 oz size, measuring 3 1/4" high and 1 3/4" in diameter.  Made by Colgate Palmolive Peet Co., Jersey City, N. J. (that old name and location helps tell how old this container must be).  Has twist open lid  and feels like it is still full of its original baby powder.  One very small mark above the G in the name Colgate, otherwise just beautiful great condition.  Pictures do show the face of the baby darker than it actually appears on the can-the baby's face was originally  printed very light (every example of this tin I have ever seen shows the baby the same way).
