Vintage Frank Whiting Sterling Silver 3-Lite 12" Candelabra / Candlesticks

This listing is for a pair of lovely Sterling Silver 3-lite candelabra/candlesticks made by the Frank M. Whiting. These elegant candlesticks has a simple elegant design and are very versatile as they are in made in three separate sections which can be unscrewed and adjusted to be used in three different ways. The top section can be removed and each candlestick becomes 8 1/2" high and can accommodate a single candle, the center section can be removed to become 9 1/2" high with the 3-lite candelabra top being reattached and the third way would be to use the 6 3/8' high base section alone with a single candle. The candelabra candlesticks are weighted for stability.
Marked on the base with the Frank M. Whiting trademark stamp and "Sterling by Frank M. Whiting, Weighted & Reinforced, 242". The Frank M. Whiting Co. was in business in North Attleboro MA from 1875-1940.
Measures 12" high (as shown), 11" wide with the base being 4" in diameter. Weighs 1490 grams.
These nice candlesticks are in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting minimal wear from normal use. Although they have been polished, they could use a more complete polish.
