Description
This unposted real photo postcard pictures SWIFT'S 100,000 TON ICE HOUSE in ASHLAND, NEBRASKA. It also pictures men cutting ice on the Platte River. Visible are the cuts that have been made by those men and horses working to fill the ice house. This postcard suffers some aging conditions. It is faded; it has light spots from liquid or a poor developing process; and the edges and corners show wear. Having said this it is a rare postcard.
