    Description

    Maitland-Smith Longcase Grandfather Clock
    This Maitland-Smith Case Clock has a Hermle clock movement number 451-033, and it stands 90" tall, measures 19" wide, and 11 1/4" deep.
    The warm tones of the custom-made faux bamboo and rattan exterior are complemented by the artisan chrome ornamentation, which includes: a neo-classical style finial, two different garlands that frame the chrome clock face, foliage-accented capitals which top the faux bamboo pilasters, and tasteful chrome claw and ball pediments.
    This piece also features a low two-door cabinet (located above the clock's chrome bun style feet) that contains white cloth gloves, the "Maitland-Smith Floor Clock Set-Up Instructions," the covered index of "Maitland-Smith Clock Service Centers," and a "Maitland-Smith Floor Clock Quick Reference Guide."
    The shiny brass weights and pendulum are located in the central glass cabinet that is enclosed in faux bamboo lattice fretwork. The round glass door-encased clock face, which features chrome roman numerals, is framed by skillfully shaped and incised faux bamboo rods with a rattan bonnet.
