View of "The Sower" the capping monument of the Nebraska State Capitol Building which was constructed beginning in 1922.  Rare view of the large bronze sculpture before it was lifted into place.   The Sower sets atop the
400 foot tower of the Nebraska State Capitol and is modeled after the traditional method of hand sowing grain for planting.  Symbolizing the importance of Agriculture to the development of civilization and Nebraska.  The figure stands on a twelve and a half foot pedestal of shocks of wheat and corn and is nineteen and a half foot tall.  Created by New York sculptor, Lee Lawrie. The sculpture weighs approx nine and half tons.  Construction.
Card was never mailed.  Sharp focus.  Card has a small bend at one corner.
