This
eight-year old girl
was first made right around 1979 or so, and we've begun making her again.  Isn't she beautiful?
You'll find quite a few of the children that Vaudeville has begun recreating if you check our other auctions.  We'll be listing more in the months to come.
This mannequin can be used as shown, with hands behind the back, or can also be used with the arms in front, as shown in the vintage black and white catalog photo.
We can supply wigs in any color or style that you'd like-just left us know.  Wigs and shipping are additional, and are not included in the purchase price.
Decter has been making mannequins for decades-and our process hasn't changed very much.
Like all Vaudeville/Decter mannequins, it's of the highest quality.  Made of heavy fiberglass and resin, literally by hand.  The casting of each piece, the hand sanding, the primer, more hand sanding, the two topcoats plus another overcoat-all done by hand.  The beautiful paintwork on each face in a combination of airbrushing, acrylics, and oils, all done by hand.  You can see individual "hairs" in each eyebrow.
Each mannequin is made to order in our factory in Los Angeles.
As a matter of fact, every single thing that Vaudeville makes is made right here in the USA-we're very proud of that.  (The only exception is our mannequin wigs.  The wigs themselves are made outside of the country, but all styling is done here).
This mannequin comes with a glass base and ankle rod stand.

between 5-7 weeks

Also-if you need touch up paint for this or any other mannequin-just take a hand to your local Lowe's or Home Depot.  With the new computers that they use, they can scan the hand and do an exact match to color and finish in no time flat.

We pack our mannequins extremely well to eliminate damage during shipping.  This means that our boxes are rather large, and right now, shipping charges are incredibly high.  Shipping is also higher on children's mannequins since they are "uni-body" (there's no seam at the waist) and the box is correspondingly large.
We don't add mark up to our shipping-we try to stay as close to actual costs as possible. If you or your company has a FedEx or UPS account, we're very pleased to ship under your own account.  Just supply with the account numbers and shipping address.
Please note: if you live in an extremely high-cost shipping area (like NYC or Los Angeles), we do reserve the right to contact you if shipping costs are higher than quoted below.
