Rare antique Victorian Era Palmenburg Cavanaugh Collapsible Iron Dress Form Model #1955 Mannequin. Height is adjustable - 8 feet.
This is a full size female dress form mannequin Model 1955 made in New York, N.Y. (full size meaning partial neck, shoulders, bust, waist, hips - no arms/legs/head
Front of mannequin reads: “14 1/2 Palmenberg Cavanaugh Collapsible Model 1955”

Mannequin is able to swivel around the pole it stands on 360 degrees without problems. Does not tilt or bend. Wheels on base of stand move freely.  .
Measurements: height is adjustable from approximately 59” to 96”. (About 8 feet tall maximum height); other approximate measurements: bust 38”, waist 31”, hips 40. There are no movable parts to the cloth chest, bust, waist or hips.
Approximate weight: 23 - 24 lbs.
CONDITION: preowned. Good condition overall = please see photos for detailed views. . Cloth has stains, frayed areas, small black marking to right of label that reads “5.00” and wear from age. Some rust on metal. The gold and green foil label is partially missing however the address is still visible “...Broadway, New York, N.Y.” See photos which are part of listing description. Buyer pays the UPS Store directly by phone payment. item that may be especially difficult to move or transport.
There are of course other nationwide shipping services available to buyers, including groups who pickup, pack and deliver specifically for eBay buyers.
If you are picking this mannequin up in person, please note that you will need a large SUV or large truck as the mannequin is 59" inches in length ( it may be too large car the back seat of a car). It can be disassembled for packing and shipping (mannequin body comes off of the pole that is attached to the base. (It is still a long piece). The expansion pole also becomes detached - easier to pack, but still have the same fragile pieces to carefully pack and ship. And both pieces even separately exceed 50” inches in length, Please contact me prior to purchase if any questions regarding shipping.
