Description

I got this little antique folder holding a mid 18th century (dating from the 1750's) plumbargo portrait miniature of an architect. Framed and kept the miniature for my collection and so I am offering here the folder it came in. I think it is from the same time period, but I am not an expert in paper goods (just in miniatures), it is antique for sure.
The folder is printed in the front with stylized flowers and then painted in by hand. Blue yarn tassel.
The back is printed with " Stampato in Italia".
Size: 2 3/4" x 2, when unfolded 2 3/4" x 4.
