    This framed official appointment certificate is for the postmaster of Storden, Cottonwood County, Minnesota. It was awarded with the approval of the United States senate and signed by president Franklin D Roosevelt and Postmaster General James A Farley on June 25, 1940. It is stamped with the official seal of Post Office Department of The United States of America.
    The certificate is without tears or repairs but does have some discoloring, particularly on the top few inches. The bottom has minor water stains. It measures about 14 in. tall by 18 in. wide without the frame. The frame measures about 15 in. by 19 in.
