    This is an original document dated 1790,   Congress of the United States. An Act for the Government and Regulation of Seamen in the Merchants' Service, passed at the second session, begun and held at the City of New York, on Monday the 4th of January, 1790. ....signed in type at lower right by George Washington, John Adams and Frederick Muhlenberg.....on verso is a crew member listing for the Schooner Sally, leaving Eastport and Bound for Boston, Zebediah Trucker, Master of the Vessel. Document is 15x22, folds, some minor splits and edge faults, overall good condition......
